Lately I've been so sick and tired, cause of the stress I've being through over the week, couldn't post often because the stress is overwhelming, I've being the only one working and the loads are quite much on me, but and staying strong and am glad to be here this morning to share with you this kaftan I made for my client yesterday for a burial program that will be holding today in his church.
Its very common to hear tailors disappoint and all, though some are with good reasons, which might be some unforseen circumstances and all but in all I try to always meet up which is what my clients has known me for and I'm glad about this.
Quickly let me show you how I made this beautiful outfit.
The materials used are:
- African print fabric (ankara)
- White Irish material
- Paper, air and collar stay
- Thread
After cutting, using the measurements taken then I prepare everything I will be using, like creating the sleeve curve and chest collar then I started sewing accordingly.
I folded the allowances added to the Lengths, joined the shoulders together and tape it
Then I ironed rigorously before fixing the collar and after that I joined the sleeve, joined the body and fixed the curve too
FINAL LOOK
Do have a wonderful day.
