Yesterday, I had a very beautiful and peaceful day. I met two of my friends for breakfast. We know each other from my old workplace, but even though we have not known each other for many years, we became very close in a short time. Some people make you feel comfortable and happy very easily. Yesterday was exactly one of those days for me.

One of my friends had visited this place before and recommended it to us. I am really happy we went there because the place was amazing. It was my first time trying Lebanese breakfast, and I really liked it. The moment we entered, the atmosphere impressed me. There were stone walls, colorful lamps, large chandeliers, and a warm environment. Every corner looked beautiful.

We sat near the upper floor. There was a beautiful fountain in the middle of the place and large lights hanging from the ceiling. The restaurant had such a peaceful feeling. We stayed there for almost three hours, but we never noticed how quickly time passed.

The breakfast table was full of many different foods. Some dishes were familiar to us, like cheese, menemen, eggs with sausage, honey, and kaymak. But I was more interested in the foods I had never seen before.

For example, I saw colorful olives for the first time in my life. Some were purple and pink. Later, I learned that they were kept inside blueberry juice to get those colors. I found that very interesting and creative. Their taste was also different from normal olives.

There were also many sauces on the table. Small bowls were filled with different tastes. Some were spicy, some were creamy, and some tasted fresh with olive oil and herbs. I loved the falafel the most. It was crispy outside and soft inside. It tasted even better with the sauces.

One of the nicest moments was when a worker at the restaurant took our photos and printed them for us as a memory. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. We were all very happy. Now we have a beautiful memory from that day.

The best part of the day was spending time with my friends. Sometimes a beautiful breakfast is not only about food. The people around you are also important. We laughed a lot and talked for hours. Sometimes people really need calm and happy days like this.
