This was actually arguments used - a little bit in Norway, but in large part in Sweden during the worst influx of migrants in 2016-2017. They thought, based no evidence, that migrants from the third world (middle east and Africa) would adapt within a few years and the start to contribute to the aging population in Sweden.
But any realistic person who has the ability to read at least some statistics AND have some common sense left, is able to see that this has never been the case. In Norway, migrants from third world countries have never contributed more than they cost society. Too many are on welfare and too few participate in the workfoce, in social life and they do in general not integrate. But they are very good at pointing the finger towards the people who are kind enough to host them - accusing them of racism and shout loud that they deserve more free money.
But Swedes, know for their incredible stamina when it comes to letting their own culture be destroyed AND letting their own lives suck due to a society that is slowly decaying - has yet to realise this.
Perhaps it sinks in, slowly - when the afghan guy not really is in Sweden to be a nurse and help old swedes on the way to their death bed. Perhaps the Nigerian 20 year old dude does not have the intellect neded to work in IT. Perhaps, not even their children will adapt and bring Sweden foward.
If the numbers continue as they have for 50 years in Norway, where even third generation immigrants from third world countries are more criminal and share less of the values that created this once good place to live - then Scandinavia has truly peaked. It will never again be the best places to live.
Not profitable
According to Moderaterne (Liberal Conservative Party AKA has no value system party) the immigration to Sweden is not profitable. In 2018 it will cost at LEAST 40 billion kroner ($5 billion USD) which is about 6-8% of the total national budget. But as we know, estimates like this are always way off. So Sweden will most likely spend more than 10% of their budget on Immigration.
What's even more weird, that I found out researching this is that Norway spend MORE?? than Sweden. Not on immigration, but in general.We're half the people, but our national budget is almost $20 billion USD more than Sweden's.. Another story I guess.

It's going to be interesting to follow Sweden in the years to come. It's a very strange situation. Personally I have been doing a little bit of travelling in Sweden, and I know for a fact that there is A LOT of immigrants there, and that it's in general pretty unpleasant. There is a lot of shouting in the streets and generally a culture that we are not used to. It's hard to watch old swedes maneouver between mentally ill immigrants from Afghanistan and drug dealers from Africa on their way to the grocery store.
At the same time leftists refuse to accept that this is a problem. If you discuss with them they almost always start with denying there is that much immigration. When you show them the facts, they immediately follow up with; "well, why is that a problem?" And when you try to explain culture and "stuff" they laugh and try to belittle you with the "fact" that culture is meaningless, and in fact that white culture is patriarchial and oppressive etc. They will also tell you that things take some time to "settle in"..even though there is no evidence of that ever happening anywhere on the planet. If you go further from there they just throw "racist" at you. And to be honest, I haven't bothered to try and talk about this issue with people for many years - except on Steemit.
We have a high degree of though policing in Scandinavia. People very easily get "concerned" with your ideals and values if you question established "truths" like the "climate crisis" that..well..when is it going to happen? We're waiting..and the" diversity is strenght" myth. If you question these two established facts - climate and immigration, you are automatically, and somewhat ironically both a white supremacist..but also a complete redneck moron. Leftists seem to struggle with cognitive dissonnanse all over the place. People that are against massive immigration is somehow both supremacists AND redneck morons. Hmmm..
I do however there will be a lot of " I told you so" moments for us white supremacist redneck losers in the future. Not only will we be able to say we told you so about cryptos, but also probably with immigration. I do of course hope I'm wrong about the last one.
