Hello Steemians,
I used to make pencil drawings but allways admired watercolor pantings.
Not very sure of myself I believed it was too hard for me.
Many years later and wiser I told myself to go for, at least try it :)
So I did.
The pink rose was my first and I was proud of myself when I finished it.
It went way easier then I had expected and I enjoyed it immensly.
It was finished within a week of joy :)
I wanted to honor it.
So I bought a fitting frame for it (I like simple) and found it a spot on my wall where I could enjoy it.
!
A few month later I decided to give it another go and this time I wanted to make a yellow one.
At the time I didn't feel to good health wise and had low energy.
Maybe I picked to wrong time but, I all ways found that being creative gave me good energy.
So I started and soon I ran into feelings of resist and found it hard to concentrate.
I stopped and wanted to give it some time.
As soon as I started again the same feelings came back and I didn't understood why.
This time I didn't want to stop because I feared I might never finish it.
So I kept going and going and bit by bit I finished it.
I was so happy when I framed it and hung it on the wall :)
Even gave myself a pet on the shoulder haha
Its hanging there as a reminder not to give up.
