It is entertaining how fast things turn around. Something that once had everyone conversing, watching, reacting now appears quiet. Not vanished, but rather less. The energy has changed; the urgency has subsided; and what once felt great now appears natural.
Once it meant more. There is only consistency and quiet effort when there is no spotlight and no pressure to impress. There is where things either vanish totally or become something more stable.
Cooling off sometimes implies not necessarily losing value. It can imply becoming genuine. Stripped of hype, free from expectation, just existing without need of showing anything.
Therefore, maybe it's not always about being "hot." Perhaps it concerns what is left when the heat has passed and whether that is still adequate.
