It is a pleasure to greet all the members of this community that brings together all coffee lovers, it is a pleasure to share and exchange experiences with everyone, today I want to participate in the prompt of the week that deals with the choice of sitting to enjoy our coffee inside or outside the coffee shop, I without hesitation every time I am asked about my preferences I answer that the choice is dependent on many factors and this ranges from where the coffee shop is located, the weather to the mood or the reason why I go that day to the place.

In my case, if I go to the coffee shops in Old Havana, there is no doubt that I always want to sit outside, because the view is fascinating whichever coffee shop you choose, the architecture of the buildings that surround it, its fountains and sculptures, its picturesque streets, offer you a very pleasant view, to see the flower vendors passing through the streets, the street cries and the movement of the city makes me very happy.
Also if I go to the cafeterias that have a garden without thinking twice I sit outside, this is the case of the cafeterias of the Hotel Nacional de Cuba, all the cafeterias have a particular charm for the cozy atmosphere of its design, its furniture, antique lamps make you feel very comfortable, But I am particularly seduced by its gardens and its view of the Havana Malecon, it is a combination of plants, peacocks, birds and the sea where you can contemplate the entire coastline, see the ships passing through the bay and even the view reaches to contemplate the Morro Castle and its emblematic lighthouse.
If I am in the outskirts of the city there is no doubt that I also choose to be close to nature, the countryside landscape of Cuba is simply wonderful, enjoy the breeze and the singing of birds gives you a lot of peace and relaxes you incalculably.
However, if I go to a café because I need to discuss a work issue, discuss an intimate matter or simply require tranquility, I will most likely sit in a secluded, quiet place inside the café, where there is less opportunity to be distracted by external factors.

There are some cafes that have no option to sit outside and then the choice of where to sit depends on the location of their tables, that's what happens to me when I go to Sabor Café I choose to sit near huge windows to enjoy the natural breeze and the view.
I must also tell you that I can go to a café and I don't even sit down, as I only need a minute to drink my coffee and get my strength back, I go to the bar, ask for it, take my sip and leave.

Perhaps many agree with the fact that choosing to sit inside or outside when we visit a café is a function of many variables and depends on the weather, the reasons for the visit or how one feels emotionally, we will always make the decision according to our needs and desires. The most important thing is that we always manage to enjoy our coffee in an environment that adapts to our preferences and provides us with a pleasurable experience.
