Over the past couple of months/weeks, we have seen several post/tweets relating to Nexus being published by PlatON, from web3 meetups/interviews to integration on existing system like Monallo but then what is Nexus and why should you be interested?
To understand this concept we have to go back months from now, starting from when Nexus was first introduced to the public and this was early February 2026.
The NEXUS project has completed the MVP R&D phase and built a new docking and interaction model centered on Agent Skill. PlatON
It was basically a concept and little to none was known by the public but weeks to months later, what felt like nothing gradually took shape and today it's one of the biggest ongoing projects on PlatON Network.
Powered by Nexus, this is an Agentic Payment Solution which enables AI agents to execute real-time on-chain payments through a programmable clearing layer.
Breaking this down a bit further, say you have several events planned out and you don't have the time or probably confused on steps to take to achieve best route while spending little to no time? This AI agents can assist in picking available venues across different merchants from say movie venue to dinner date amongst others, it creates a plan while using optimum route to ensure all is carried out within seconds while you simply sit and watch and best part, payment is carried out via stable crypto which are always paired to 1:1 at all time.
PlatON is currently at the forefront in researching AI and ways to better make payment and settlement clearing as seamless as possible.
