Revelation must be in line with God’s Word - JESUS CHRIST- the Father revealed to Peter the person of Jesus Christ. On the day of Pentecost, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit ‘formed’ a Church. Without the Holy Spirit in a gathering, it is NOT a Church.
Since the Church consists of people whom the Holy Spirit gathers to the name of Jesus, it was the Lord who added and adds people to the church. I know many people will argue that but that is the truth.
Since there cannot be any unsaved, unbeliever in the ‘Church’ the basic criterion for them to be added to the Church is for them to be saved (Acts 2:47) and that is our main work as a Church. We need to ensure that people are saved so that they can be added to the church of Jesus Christ. How will this be done? “Feed, feed, and feed”.
The Word of God must be preached to the ends of the earth. People need to be fed this meal and we who 'eat' the meal must show a nourished lifestyle for other people to want to eat of the meal. We cannot feed people what we do not have and what we have not had to eat from.
The unsaved are not in the Church because the Church is the body of believers. It is the 'saved' that makes up the body of Christ. This is why you must understand that the church is not a building. The reason why people act the way they do sometimes which makes people discredit the church is because the gathering of people is not in line with the Holy Spirit; the Holy Spirit makes a Church a Church.
