The bible allow the widow to be remarried or have another husband.
Marrying after the death of a spouse the bible allows it. It took a woman eight years to find another husband. The bible tell us in the book of Hebrews 1 verse 12 that, for the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. The word of God discern our thoughts, our intent, our thoughts is display by the word of God because it is like a two edged sword piercing to the dividing soul and spirit meaning the word of God can penetrate into deepest part of our being and you may feel it now. Psalm 103 verse 13 says, like as a father pitieth his children, so the lord pitieth them that fear him.
Verse 14 says, For he knoweth our frame, h3 rememberth that we are dust. Dust in the bible signifies something weak, something lowly. We are lowly, we are weak, we are sometimes easily persuaded by our emotions. People that are old at times they look for a partner, someone to lean on, someone to tell there heart aches too put they are alone that I know because I'm old now[ bro eli] Now that I'm seventy year old there are times I look for someone whom i talk to when I'm frustrated, someone I can talk to in the middle of the night when I cannot sleep. I'm putting myself in a position of a woman who has been a widow for eight years. The question is, Is it accept to find another partner? God knows what we feel and sometimes what we desire in life.
The word of God in the bible allows it.
Romans chapter 7 vers 2 says, For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth, but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
Verse 3 says, so then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress, but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law, so that she is no adultress, though she married to another man.
