Hello friends of Steemit's, yesterday I was doing Nat Geo's work and the Goliath Tarantula caught my eye.
What caught my attention the most is that part of being catalogued as the largest Spider in the world is found in Venezuela in the Amazon. This spider feeds on small birds and mice. It can be lethal to a human being and its venom is very toxic.
When the Spider feels a predator nearby with its hind legs, its hairs release their hairs on contact with the animals, irritating their skin and itching is the way to warn other animals.
