Here are the things I learnt from the teachings on the prayer meeting.
We need patience as Christians
How we will inherit eternal life is by striving to walk in good works.
Hebrew 10:36
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
1 John 2:25
And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.
Romans 8:18
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Patients is an important component of faith.
Hebrew 10:38
Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Hebrew 10:36

Patience is also a component of love
Patience is also a component of faith.
1 Thessalonians 1:3
Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
The three most important components of our salvation is faith, hope and love and patience is a major component of them all.
1 Timothy 6:11
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
Revelation 2:10
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
We should have faith until the end, despite the sufferings, difficulties we may be experiencing as Christians.
Mathew 24:13
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Philippians 1:29
For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;
Patience cannot be separated from a servant of God who wants to receive or do the word of God, he must endure till the end, despite sufferings, tortures or difficulties he may be experiencing.
He should not give up maybe because he can't endure it anymore, part of the will of God is for us to have patience as Christians.
