I’m seeing a lot of “guard your votes carefully” sentiment now that your votes actually mean something.
Respectfully (well, not really), WTF? Were you really throwing tons of votes around because they weren’t worth much? That’s definitely not the way to add value to a system.
Look, you should treat all of your votes for exactly what they are, regardless of their worth to you or anyone else.
We are building a system here, it is a commons, and we need to all be as careful as possible in making sure we are constantly adding value to the system.
As says, we are pioneers. That pioneering aspect comes with both great reward and great responsibility. WE (you, me, everyone on the platform) are the ones developing Steemit, it’s up to us to build it well.
If you like content and you think it adds value to Steemit, vote for it.
There’s actually not THAT much great content that you can run out of votes IF you’re only voting for truly high quality posts.
So, stop sweating HF19. Do the right thing always. You’ll be fine.
