Munsieville is a squatter camp near the city of Krugersdorp in the province of Gauteng, South Africa.
Much is written about the place, both good and bad, but the end result is that somebody has to help these people.
Especially the children, of which there are about 300 plus in the camps.
Each household has a sad story about failure in life and the conditions in the place are horrid. No running water and no electricity. Families live in shacks that they made from corrugated roof sheets. Most of the shacks have no carpets and the floors are bare ground inside the shacks.
This is where The Papillon Foundation comes in, as we regularly drop food, clothing and other goods for the people.
The parents of the little shy girl in the photo have tried to make their shack to seem like some sort of a home, as you can see their efforts in the "garden" at the front of their shack.
