This was last night (26/7/2018), as I practiced for the eclipse that takes place tomorrow night (27/7/2018)!
As you can see, we currently have a lot of cloud cover over the Western Cape and although I got one or two clear shots last night, I am a tad worried that the eclipse might be covered by the moon tonight!
We shall just have to wait and see.

As I said, the clouds remain a concern, but you can see in the last two pictures that I managed to get two clear shots.
The name of the game is patience and to simply wait and watch. Not too nice in the cold of winter, but the clear shots made up for it. The sky is also much clearer here at the apple farms and I look forward to some amazing shots in the summer months! As usual, one will have to wait and see!
