Today finally is the day that my girlfriend decided to join Hive. Well she has been wanting to join Hive for a while now but finding a proper handle for her artistic endeavors proved rather difficult, mainly because all of the good ideas were taken already. It's the weird age of cyber-communication and - as many of you will be familiar with - most of the good ideas are already taken by someone else out there. Regardless of how well they use the name, they have the initiative.
Be that as it may, we finally managed to set up her account today and though it has been way easier than ever on Steem (thanks to both the awesome mechanics of the Hive ecosystem and my knowledge on handling a Hive account). However the whole process of understanding the intricate in's and outs of Hive, of the keys, of a way to handle them via password manager and the voting dynamics proved challenging to say the least.
It still is a steep learning curve for sure.
The onboarding via works magnificently - account created in a minute, no details asked but an email address and even a referral program. Stoked! Couldn't be better!
But man, I feel without the integration of LastPass or a similar password manager it can be quite overwhelming and frustrating to get started on here still. All the different keyds have their merit, so does the whole re-entreing of passphrases on different screens as in setting up your cover banner or powering up your first Hive but it gnaws at the newcomer!
For people who may not be familiar with password managers, people used to the likes of facebook, twitter and google this high hoop may be a bit much to jump through at once.
That said: What are the best tutorials you know that show new people the ropes here? The best resources for making onboarding both a fun and non-painful experience?
The steep learning curve aside that comes with the territory of cryptoland, how can we make the transition for people easier? Are we in actual need of new and better tutorials that show this in the most efficient manner? Like as straight to the point as possible...
I felt almost compelled to start a tutorial series right then and there today but wanted to ask the community for their best take on how to get started here. Where do you point people who have zero understanding but want to get Hive'ing?

Thanks for stopping by <3
