My name is Prem aka 
I discovered the Steemit community by chance, and have to say its a breath of fresh air.
Over time I have been getting frustrated with the lack of original and interesting content on Social Media Platforms such as Reddit, where there is no incentive for people to actually put thought to what they are sharing.
Profession:
As can be (hopefully) identified by this posts title, I am a passionate software developer who specialises with Legacy Code in an obscure to the masses language and environment called Universe.
Universe is a Multi-Value database and code execution environment, which has been around since the 1970's.
It it quite strange for someone who just finished University (with modern languages and paradimes) to work with legacy code, and yet I have to say, it can be quite rewarding (and frustrating).
I dream of the toolsets and features available to other developers (.Net and Android) to name a few, who have full featured Interactive Development Environments (IDE's).
But enough about that, I will save the more in-depth look into this for a later post.

I love learning about the technological world. All its fascinating facts, especially when it relates to programming, wearable tech, Artificial Intelligence, Elon Musk and CryptoCurrency.
I look forward to contributing to this growing community, with discussive posts in relation to my experiences as well as sharing some of my hobby photography (sample below).
