I always believe in an instant gratification project prior to a big one (like the sweater my wife now wants after seeing my tunic). I used a hand dyed supper-wash Moreno my wife bought two years ago because she wanted a hat. She bought 500 yards of yarn for me to make one hat. Go ahead and laugh, I already did. I made the hat and for two years just looked at this yarn attempting to decide what I wanted to do with it. These boot socks are from a Knitting Pure and Simple pattern. These socks are warm as hell and soft and dense. They may very well become my next cabin socks.
