Namaste đ
Hope you all are doing great!!!
Todayâs blog is about one of the main attraction of Ayodhya city, the Hanuman Garhi Temple. This temple is very close to the Ram Mandir of Ayodhya. It is so close that you can visit this temple with just five minute walk from the Ram Mandir.
There is a narrow street that leads towards this beautiful shrine with religious shops on both sides, selling things that are necessary for worship.
This temple is more than 300 years old and is considered one of the important ones in Ayodhya. It is built like a fort and has four sides to reach this temple one has to climb about 80 stairs.
There are side-by-side lines made outside of the temple for people to form queues so that everyone can visit the temple in organised way. Luckily, at the time when I was visiting there, there wasnât much crowd present there.
The place looked like a typical Indian small city with people from all walks of life. They were people dressed in traditional Indian clothes and the market was full of life. The atmosphere was really vibrant as you can see in the photograph below.
Now the photograph below is the detailed photograph of the templeâs exterior. The exterior of the temple looked really studying from the outside, and it looked like a classic castle or Fort. The vibe of this place was really peaceful, and it felt like home.
Right outside of the temple, we found a shop where the shopkeeper was selling fresh flowers and other offerings that are given to Lord Hanuman. We bought some flowers so that we could give them as offering to Lord Hanuman in the temple.
Now we were all set and ready to get inside of the temple right outside of the temple. There was some crowd as you can see in the photograph below, but it was really manageable and it didnât bother us a lot at all.
Now these are the stairs I was talking about earlier. These chairs are quite bit high, and itâs a little bit difficult to climb on them if you have bad knees or if you are injured. But after a little climb of these 80 stairs, the reward you get is incomparable to anything.
Once youâre done with the stairs, you get inside of a hallway that leads to the inner part of the temple, and there is police check post there as you can see. As this time the crowd was very less, so there was no requirement of any police officer to control the crowd.
Here we were right next to the main part of the temple and here there was some crowd, and everyone was waiting for the darshan of Lord Hanuman. We also stored in the line and that line slowly began moving as people did. Darshan one by one.
This place was really very very vibrant and had a very peaceful vibe to it. There was a kind of satisfaction in my heart when I was standing there with my grandparents. I was not thinking about anything. I was just in peace with myself.
You can say it was a blessing of Lord Hanuman for me that I was able to visit this peaceful and one of the most important Hanuman temple of our country with my grandparents. I really consider myself lucky to this opportunity which I had.
The temple itself looked really stunning, and it was full of vibrant colours. Mostly, the temple had some red coloured shades to it as red is the colour that is loved by Lord Hanuman.
After sending in line for about five minutes, it was my turn to do Darshan with my grandparents. While I was very close to the idea of Lord Hanuman inside of the temple, I got to see this message that said that photography was not allowed of the Lord Hanuman, so I kept my phone inside and began just experiencing the place to the fullest.
As this place gets really hot during summer times being in the middle of Indian subcontinent, there are many friends along the wall of the temple that you can see in the photographs below. The detailing on the walls of the temple is phenomenal, and the craftsmanship is really unmatched.
We did a complete revolution around the temple called Parikrama, and it was indeed a very peaceful feeling to do that. I felt really relieved and peaceful after I completed fun Parikrama and said in the temple premises.
In the photograph below, you can see the picture of my grandparents outside of the temple. I took this picture as a souvenir of our visit to the temple and it came out to be amazing. I showed this picture to everyone in my family, and everyone was really happy to see our grandparents visiting this holy place.
So after spending about half an hour in the temple, it was time for us to leave this holy place. We didnât felt like leaving, but we had to leave as it was getting late, and we had other places to go and visit as well.
Add the exit door of the temple. There was this wall which had fully been covered in text from an scriptures that you can see in the photograph below and behind those walls, there was a little room where people were doing Kirtan and it was a vibe that I am gonna remember forever.
So after exiting from the exit gate, we were at the opposite end of the temple and we had to get to the place where we bought the flowers as we kept us shoes, there, as shoes were not allowed inside of the temple.
So we came to the front of the temple again to get our shoes, and from there only we started heading towards the main highway from where we would be going back to our hotel room and doing some rest.
I also kept one selfie with the temple as I was really moved spiritually after my visit to this holy place. I highly recommend everyone visiting Yahya to visit this holy place and enjoy the peaceful vibe this place has to offer.
Thatâs all for today.
Thanks for passing by.
Peace âŽď¸
