Todayās blog is going to be about the biggest, most important and oldest temples in Vrindavan that are Banke Bihari Temple and Shri Rang Nath Maharaj temple. Shri Rang Nath Maharaj Temple-
To be very honest at first, we didnāt had any plan to visit this temple and we wanted to go to The Banke Bihari Temple directly. We were on a rented scooter that way rented near Prem Mandir and we were exploring Vrindavan town on that scooter so what happened was on maps, we entered Banke Bihari Mandir and it somehow bought us here.
As I have previously been to Vrindavan before long time back, I realise that it was not the Banke Bihari Temple that we were going to confirm that from shopkeepers who were selling some stuff outside the temple and they told us the same thing. One of them told us that itās wrongly mentioned maps. and this temple of Shri Rang Nath is shown in place of Banke Bihari Temple as Vrindavan Dham and the Banke Bihari Temple is about a couple kilometres away from here.
As we were already here, so we decided to get inside of the temple.. This temple was one of the biggest temple Iāve ever seen in Vrindavan and itās dedicated to Shri Rang Nath ji. It had a huge entry gate and some instructions written on that gate regarding the fake guides that roam around this place claiming that they are from the temple.

As soon as we entered in the temple, we saw this huge beautifully built monument that was spread across long and wide area. As it was evening time when I visited there, we were also able to see moon just above the temple and I was able to capture this beautiful photo for you guys.

Visiting vahan ghar inside the templeā
This temple was divided into many sections. Basically there were three main sections of this month. One was Bahan Ghar, another one was sheesh mahal and the final one was the main Temple. We started from the vahan Ghar.
This room contained Varanās, that is the vehicles of Shri Ranganath. We got to know that there is a fair that that is held near the temple at that time, the idol of Shri Rangnath ji travels on these vahans.
Visiting Sheesh Mahalā
After spending some time in the vahan ghar we visited Sheesh Mahal. It was a room made of beautiful glasses and you could see yourself in all the direction in that room. In Hindi and Urdu, Shisha is mirror, thatās why Sheesh Mahal is a Fort made up of mirror.
We walk through this beautiful corridor to get into that beautiful room called Sheesh Mahal. We couldnāt wait to see how it looked from inside.
As soon as we entered inside the Sheesh Mahal, we were stunned. I have never seen such kind of place in my entire life. there were small glasses everywhere and whole place was shining like a diamond. There was an idea of Radha Shram place in the middle and it looked really beautiful. Now I got to know why this place was called Sheesh Mahal.
One thing I forgot to mention earlier, was that the Sheesh Mahal and vahan ghar had a ticket of ā¹15 each so that you can visit them, otherwise, you can just visit the temple for free. They (vahan ghar and sheesh mahal) were not for everyone, only after buying ticket, you could get inside. That bought tickets as the few we were seeing was just amazing.
Not only the walls, but the floor and the ceiling was also made up of glass. They were many chandelier hanging on the top and there were many lights that made it shine brighter.

One thing I would like to tell you is that out of respect, I didnāt capture any photo inside of the temple as it was written outside of the temple that photos are prohibited inside of the temple. Although some people were still capturing photographs, but I didnāt wanna hurt anyone sentiments, so I didnāt capture it. I would just like to mention that when I visited the Ranganath Temple, it was just amazing, just like every other temple or religious place, I visit. It was just like that, I felt peace from deep inside of me.
On the way to Banke Bihari templeā-
We consider ourselves lucky that we visited Aro Rang Nath Temple without planning, but it was now time to go to The Banke Bihari Temple or, the most believed temple of Vrindavan.
It took us around 15 to 20 minutes in a scooter to reach to a place where we need to park that beyond that point, it was not possible for a scooter or any kind of vehicle to reach near the temple. So we parked our scooter in the parking and it was also mandatory to take off our shoes.
We walked barefoot for about 20 minutes before we reached the market near the temple. There were many shops there selling flowers and other kind of offering. We took some flowers and bought some pedas as offering for temple.

We had one of the most divine experiences of our life in the Banke Bihari Temple. Itās already mentioned that we couldnāt take Mani photographs near the temple as itās prohibited, so there is nothing I can show to you. but I can definitely tell you that itās worth visiting there once a while, the peace that you get from, there is in comparable to anywhere in the world.
The temple was just right next to the shops, but still we couldnāt take the photographs as already stated. So far. My journey of Vrindavan town was going out smoothly, and I was having the time of my life. I was feeling so peaceful from inside and I was having that divine feeling within me.
