My boyfriend and I have always arranged our relationship in such an organized manner. What do I mean by that? Well, as much as possible we schedule everything. That sounds boring but hear me out first. 😉
Mondays to Fridays are for working closer to our dream careers while Saturdays, specifically Saturday nights, are for our little catch-up session which sometimes could last a little over midnight. Customarily, we just talk over the phone or do video calls on Saturdays but in recent weeks, we've been seeing each other on weekends. We are both ambitious and our dreams are endless. It's nice to be in a relationship with someone who understands that our relationship isn't the only thing that keeps our worlds revolving. We take continuous learning seriously. I gained a diploma in Supply Chain Management last year and he's almost done with his Master's in Chemical Engineering. On the side, we also take online classes on things we wanted to learn more about, Life Coaching for him and Interior Design for me. We take taking care of our health and wellness seriously, too. He loves to hit the gym and does yoga while I enjoy running the most. And before I forget, we make time creating content here in Hive, too! Now that's a lot, right? That doesn't even include all the organizations I've pledged my time and skills to. If you're in our position, scheduling is the key! Writing this now makes me blush for the great work we've always put in order to balance every single thing on our plates including our relationship. 🥰
Well, my boyfriend could be spontaneous. In fact, I'd say he is spontaneous. He could respond to his friends' last-minute invites. I'm the entire opposite tho. I love sticking to my calendar no matter what and anything that involves my presence should be scheduled ahead. I'd respectfully decline any invite that would hinder me from delivering my day's goals. But just like statistics, there are always outliers. One time, out of the blue I asked my boyfriend if he wants to accompany me to this desert place famous for its french macarons. Before heading to the place for dessert, he suggested we eat dinner in Sip Cafe. It was my first time there. We ordered pizza and bibimbap for our quick dinner. There was nothing special about the food there, well at least based on what we've ordered. But I find the cafe's interior charming and refreshing despite having limited space. We headed to the dessert place which is just across Sip.
It was fun to be spontaneous every once in a while but yeah, still sticking to my Let's check my schedule first! before saying yes to invitations! 🥰😁
