In such a hot summer as we have this year, it is worth taking care of water for the birds that visit our garden.
I prepared a 15 cm diameter dish for them and poured a few stones inside so that the container would be stable when the bird sat on the edge. And also so that the birds can stand in the middle and splash in the cool water. Of course, the water level is about 1 cm higher than the stones.
I placed this container with water on the composter, under an apple tree (birds often live there), so that it was in the shade all the time. In my opinion, this is the most practical place to do it.
As you can see in the photos, the small birds (and the sparrows that arrived later) love this kind of fun. The spilled water around the pool was their doing. 馃槅
In winter, I will leave food for birds in the same place. This will help the birds get used to one place.

Ten pojemnik z wod膮 postawi艂em na kompostowniku, pod jab艂oni膮 (na niej cz臋sto przebywaj膮 ptaki), by by艂 przez ca艂y czas w cieniu. Wed艂ug mnie jest to najbardziej praktyczne miejsce na to.
Jak wida膰 na zdj臋ciach, sikorki (a tak偶e wr贸ble, kt贸re po藕niej te偶 przylecia艂y) uwielbiaj膮 tak膮 zabaw臋. Ta rozlana woda wok贸艂 basenu to ich robota. 馃槅
Zim膮 w tym samym miejscu b臋d臋 zostawia艂 pokarm dla ptak贸w. Dzi臋ki temu ptaki przyzwyczaj膮 si臋 do jednego miejsca.
