Massive carving larger than Rushmore. The family- grandfather, father, son, and his family have been caving this massive sculpture. If you go please take the bus that runs up to the base of the sculpture. That's the only way to even begin to understand the massiveness of this monument. The Native American museum at the base is loaded with fantastic examples of carvings, jewelry, clothing and history of the west . This was built on private land so that there would be no government interference. It is totally paid for by visitors contributions. Be sure to catch the last photo.!
