Hello hive.
Good day to you all my great people in the community, happy new week and happy needleworkmonday, hope you all are doing well today, I'm here today to share my beautiful work with you all and also the steps i carried, it about the process of how i make this beautiful and designing free kaftan bubu gown for my mother in-law.

Last week my mother in-law had a burial to attend, which was her sister's mother in-law burial so she was talking about the uniform i was so surprised because she don't like wearing native clothes and she don't like them, she told me that instead of stressing herself witj tailor she rather go the market and buy any dress of her choice, so she went and bought three yards of the Ankara uniform material, i waited for her to choose the style that she want, after choosing the style the next day i started cutting it, so i placed the material on the floor, started with rhe bqck cutting, i measured the full length and divide the shoulder by two ans some sewing allowance, i took the half length and divide the body by two the i added some allowance ro it because she wants it veey free, then i cut it out.

After cutting the back side i folded the material again and pleaced the back side on it then i cut it out and cut the V neck at the front neck then i cut out the black material which will ne placed out at the fornt side.

I then cut out the back black that will also be placing at the back side neck.

So i then went to the sewing machine and turned the front and the back facing then i cut out the front pocket, i bend the upper pocket part and insect the two side roop then i pleat the both two side and placed it at the front side.

So i now joined the feont and the back shoulder together then i cut out the black material for the sleeves hem piping and i joined the two both sleeves side then i joined the front and the back body together, and i bend the down hem of the dress and iron it successfully, and i placed a buttin at the front black point.

So here is the outcome of it.

I was so excited for sewing oit the exactly style that she wanted most especially she loved it and was so excited about it, i thinking that she will not like it because normally she don't use to wear native dress apart from wearing a bride traditional dress and wedding, well it was so nice.
