My unplanned solo trip to Amsterdam turned out to be quite an adventure. Initially, my journey was meant to be shared with a friend, but when she had passport issues, I found myself traveling alone for the first time. Despite initial fears and uncertainties, exploring Amsterdam's vibrant cafes, rich museums, and lively canal bars solo proved incredibly rewarding. As May temperatures in Amsterdam tend to be mild and pleasant, it's an ideal month to visit without crowds while still enjoying the city’s charm.
