And honestly… that’s okay.
I’ve spent so much time trying to be understood by everyone, trying to fit into expectations, trying to look “soft enough” or “quiet enough.” But growing up changes you. Studying psychology changes you even more.
You start realizing that confidence can make people uncomfortable.
That being expressive, intense, emotional, intelligent, and feminine at the same time confuses some people.
But this version of me feels real.
Dark outfit, long hair, serious eyes… maybe it looks intimidating to some, but I think it just looks like someone finally learning to own her presence.
I still care deeply.
I still feel everything intensely.
I still overthink at 2 a.m. sometimes.
But I’m no longer afraid of taking up space.
