As my big birds are already going up for sales, my smaller birds are 2 days old today, with that I am glad to say that no mortality case and I don't pray I have one. The numbers are still intact as they came in from Ilemona hatchery farm. Ever since they came in, a lot of developments have happened. They are growing well and they are healthy. On the first ten days a lot have changed about them.
Presently, we have hot afternoon weather here, so I took my time to change the birds water in the drinkers which I thought have been messed up. So I just rinse the drinkers in the tap water just a mile away from my brooder oen, filled it with new water in the drinkers.
OBSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT SO FAR.
- They have grown in size.
- Their intake of water quantity has increased, they were day old to day 4, they consumed just 1liters in 24 hours but presently they are consuming 25liters when they are just days old.
- They are beginning to grow the whitish feathers.
- Their feeding have also increased. So far, they consume like 7kilogram of feed in 24hours.
