I'm a bit embarrassed to admit but I lost my safe key like 4 months.
That's where I keep my best stuff, the more premium and collector stuff I like to look at more often. It must have been over 112 days ago, since ever since I've joined steemit I've wanted to show off those goodies and now I finally can. Most of the generics and weight are are in storage and off site, and all the stuff I've showcased over the last 4 months have been new pick ups.
A few months ago I cleaned my coin/silver area and reorganized a few things and decided I needed a better place to store my safe key then in the front of it. I have one like this with the key and tumbler. So I finally took the key out and of course hid it somewhere. Unfortunately I also hid it from myself.
Yesterday morning I was cleaning since I had a new friend who is considering getting some custom silver rounds minted come over for a bit of a meeting. Well sure enough I found my key just sitting on one of my shelves behind a couple boxes. I'm started to wonder if I did even hide it or just placed it there since I had already checked all my great usual hiding places.
Anyways now that I've found it prepare yourselves for some juicy showcases. I also plan to start hard and will commit to a daily silver showcase for the next week! I'm also looking forward to being a bit more active here on what I've always considered my home community even though I continue to explore the wide world of steemit and my other interests and writing as well.
I will also apologize in advance since I also store my good stuff in vacuum sealed bags to prevent any tarnish and toning, so some of the photo may be limited, but just maybe I'll cut a few open if my wife doesn't catch me wasting her vacuum bags....lol.
