Hi there my Steemian friends and followers!
Today is Friday which comes with the Food/Fun/Action but the previous 5 themes of this week are still open and I am picking the yesterday´s Architectural or Structures
for my today´s post.
I am submitting this shot of the famous Hotel Negresco that I clicked in Nice, France a few years ago.
It was already after the sunset when I took that shot but as you can see in the photo, it was not completely dark yet and the hotel, lit up by all the lights, stood out like a giant shining jewel on the busy street.
Located on the famous Promenade des Anglais in the seafront part of the city, the Hotel Negresco was built in 1912 and named after Henri Negresco, a prominent Romanian hotelier. Listed as one of France´s National Historic Buildings since 2003, the hotel is one of the most recognized pieces of architecture in the city and it currently offers a total of 119 guest rooms and 22 suites.
