Hi there my Steemit friends and followers!
I have already mentioned that Mexico has to be one of the most colorful countries in the world. The locals just love bright colors and you can find them literally everywhere. Even on a tiny chapel found in a remote area of a little Mexican island.
If you wonder what view the little cross window inside the chapel offers, let me show you...
Unfortunately, I did not find any relevant info about this picturesque chapel itself but I can tell you where exactly it is located. It is situated right next to the entrance to the Punta Sur Eco Beach Park, a protected natural area on the little Mexican island of Cozumel.
Occupying a total area of just 647 sq km (250 sq mi), Cozumel lies in the Caribbean Sea, just some 20 km (13 mi) off Playa del Carmen, one of the biggest cities on Riviera Maya on the Mexican mainland.
Don’t let the miniature size of the island fool you though. One of the most beautiful islands of Mexico, Cozumel has so much to offer - from scuba diving and snorkeling to ancient Mayan ruins, impressive architecture and abundant wildlife.
Here are some shots of the island´s stunning landscape. Pretty colorful too, huh? :))
This is also my entry for today´s #colorfulphotography contest hosted by .
