Today, my entry will take you to Mexico to show you one of our favorite secret spots in there, the picturesque bay of Punta Esmeralda.

Found just outside of the city of Playa del Carmen on the renowned Riviera Maya, the Punta Esmeralda Bay is a very popular chill-out area for the locals but tourists usually don´t have the faintest idea about its existence.
Another cool thing about the bay is that because of its unique shape and location, the sun appears to be (almost) setting right into the sea in there, which is a very rare sight in this (eastern) part of Mexico.
