@phortun´s Monday Spotlight presents Steemian of the Week: @valth

Hi there my Steemit friends and followers!

Welcome to my Monday Spotlight where I promote some of your interesting and inspirational Steemit fellows that I have been privileged to know and call friends (at least here in the Steemit world I mean :))

This time around, my Steemian of the Week and the person that I would like to introduce you to is Hive account@valth.

I have been following Hive account@valth for a few months already and he quickly became one of my favorite authors here on Steemit whose posts I never want to miss. We both share deep affection for nature and conservation and these are also the topics that Hive account@valth usually writes about. But do not get me wrong here. His posts about animals are much more than just some wildlife shots with a few lines that we often see under the tags like #animals and #nature. Hive account@valth posts are brilliantly organized, sourced and researched articles that have a significant educative (and sometimes even scientific) value and you can be sure you will always learn something new from them. To have a better idea of what I am talking about here, go check out Hive account@valth posts like this one about a herbivorous shark, this one about a 500-year old mollusk or this one about animal translocation.

An avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast, Hive account@valth loves to explore the stunning natural beauties of his homeland Norway and share it with his followers through his posts and photos. You can, for example, check out how he encountered the endangered freshwater pearl mussel or how he found the rare purple wood sorrel.

Hive account@valth is a keen gardener too so posts dedicated to farming and gardening is another thing you can find on his blog. From his recently published posts on this topic, let me mention this post about harvesting pumpkins and this post about harvesting apples.

Occasionally, Hive account@valth also writes about cryptocurrencies, blockchain and technology. While these posts are not that common on his blog, you can be sure you will find tons of useful and interesting information in them. I guess most of us were somehow engaged in the recent Netcoins madness but do you really know what this company is about? If not, you might want to check this @valth post about Netcoins.

As you can see, Hive account@valth is a pretty all-around guy who provides his followers with a variety of top-quality posts but there is another thing that makes him popular on Steemit - he always interacts with his audience and makes sure to reply to (and reward) comments left by his followers, which is something that not every Steemian with such a high reputation and traffic in the comment section does so it is certainly something to be appreciated :)
