Hello again!
A few weekends ago I found myself at the conference in Las Vegas. I know right! I'm still processing some of the information and thinking about how I can contribute to the steemit community.
Let me first say the people there were fantastic, the knowledge base was amazing. I went into this conference not knowing what to expect and it proved to be exactly what I needed.
It was a laid back conference with a lot of serious steemians ready to share their experiences and how they use the platform. Seriously...look how chill everyone was -- this was during photo lesson by the pool.
As I stated in my introduction post, we dropped by the Steem Creators conference to learn more about the platform, how to utilize the platform and maximize our engagement. So far so good! Now I'm here on a personal level to join the fun side of steemit.
Every speaker at the conference brought something different, personal views and unique experiences with the platform.
A quick shoutout to some of the conference speakers. I'm going to miss most of you, don't feel bad. I barely remember my own name half the time.
@Steemcafe of course. Thanks for welcoming us to the conference and sharing your wealth of knowledge!
@scottshots The pro photographer himself! We loved checking out your photo gallery on stage. Thanks for sharing so many great tips, tricks and hacks for taking better photos. PS: I did buy a Graduated Neutral Density Filter as soon as I got home -- it's awesome!
@thundercurator He and his wife rocked the house on several occasions. Perhaps one of the best speakers of the event, his cache of knowledge about everything from blogging to marketing resonated through the crowd.
@joeparys Excellent talk. You broke things down in a way that those less familiar with the platform could understand. We're looking forward to taking your course on Udemy.
@quinneaker Perhaps the most recognizable in the group, Quinn was outspoken about his mission and brought a level of passion to the event that was hard to match
@AdamKokesh Does anything really need to be said? He joined us remotely and provided great insights on many levels.
@happymoneyman This guy tells his life story like it's a James Bond movie. Seriously. Somebody get this man a movie contract - STAT!
@coruscate This lady brought realism to the conference. When surfing DTube and Steemit, there is so much content about crypto and blockchain that it's easy to get lost down a rabbit hole. She brought authenticity to the party by talking about how she uses the platform to share her life passions and message. This is the content that will help steemit become mainstream.
@maryjaney While she wasn't a speaker at the conference, she was one of the first to introduce herself to us. She and were seated in front of us during the first day of the conference and we all enjoyed some small talk between speakers. :) Hi!
@wolfnworbeikood What can I say about this guy? He gave one of the most heartfelt pitches during the Pitch Party. The passion in his voice, his story and his vision were next to none. Watch his pitch here (Thanks @thehoneys)
@thehoneys Last on the list, but certainly not least. Jamie and Amy were the rope that really tied the event together. Playing MC, comedian, tech support, and marketing genius, the honeys kept everything moving along and made everyone feel welcome.
...and a big group shout out to @hyperfundit, @dynamicgreentk, @hypnopreneur, @larrymorrison, @daveonarrival, @josephsavage, @katysavage, @kenmelendez, @lindseylambz, @richardcrill, @thedodgemahal, @mariannewest, @nikema, @partiko, @reseller, @steembasicincome, @virtualgrowth, @museproject, and @ogc. I'm sure there are a few more I'm missing. It was nice meeting you all!
The Steem Creators conference did not disappoint. There were a lot of takeaways from this conference that we've already started working into our strategy.
If you have any photos from the conference you'd like to share, please do so in the comments!
Thank you for following me, upvoting and joining me on my journey!
