So yesterday my former landlord called me and asked me to return his house keys because he heard that I had moved out of the apartment. He also promised to refund my remaining house rent for one month.
Today, I went to my old apartment and saw how littered everywhere was due to the moving, so I decided to sweep the entire place and do some packing of unwanted items.
I packed everything with the assistance of my neighbor's son, who came to help me pack those unwanted items outside, I was able to finish packing them on time.
I bought a new lighter and used it to lit fire on those unwanted items. To my amazement, the fire burnt very well untill it began to affect my landlord's plantain.
I was beginning to be scared then I asked myself why I did give a good distance between where I dumped those unwanted items with the plantain plantation.
My landlord who also came around, noticed a part of his plantain had shrinked due to the heat of the burning flames was unhappy.
He asked me to allow the flames to subside before adding more unwanted items to the fire in order no to destr0y his plantains in totality.
But the little I added to the flame, the higher it burnt. I felt bad at some point for the plantain, because for me I couldn't withstand the heat of the flames but the plantain did not have the legs to run away like I did each time I added new stuffs into the burning flames.
I touched the body of the plantain and it was very hot as if it was being cooked. I felt that my landlord might not return my remaining rent to me because I burnt his plantain. I don't know yet though, but I don't think so too, he is a good man, he will return my remaining rent.
I made sure I burnt every unwanted thing to ashes, after which I returned the house key and that was how my weekend went.
