Street art doesn't necessarily have to be colorful to be amazing, as is this case with this piece. Next to it, is a piece celebrating the civil rights activist Dolores Huerta.
Dolores Huerta is responsible for the phrase "Si, se puede" and has been instrumental in advocating for women's and worker's rights.
This one was spotted across from the old railyards, celebrating the train tracks that enabled the city to grow to what it has become. I love the inexplicable bright sun that contrasts the night sky in the painting.
Okay so this isn't technically "street art" but I have always loved this colorful fence in downtown Albuquerque. I think it really adds to the aesthetic of the area and is a great idea, I wish more fences were multi-colored like this.
