heute trete ich mit einer ganz besonderen Herzensangelegenheit an Euch heran. Normalerweise mache ich keine Werbung, aber ich glaube, was jetzt folgt ist ja auch keine kommerzielle Werbung, sondern eine Werbung für eine wirklich gute Tat. Diese gute Tat kannst Du, mein Freund, jeden Tag vollbringen, ohne dass es Dich Mühe oder großen Aufwand kostet. Es geht ganz einfach darum, dass Du Dich als potentieller Spender bei der DKMS (oder einem ausländischen Pendanten) als Stammzellenspender einschreiben lässt. Hierzu lässt Du Dir ganz einfach ein Testset zuschicken, machst mit dem beiliegenden Wattestäbchen einen Wangenabstrich und schickst das Stäbchen wieder zurück. Aber siehe selbst:

It is simply a matter of registering as a potential donor with the DKMS (or a foreign counterpart) as a stem cell donor. Ein DKMS-Sonderzug rollt unter dem Motto „Jetzt bist Du am Zug – Setz ein Zeichen gegen Blutkrebs!“ eine Woche lang quer durch Deutschland und unterstreicht so die Relevanz des Themas und motiviert zur Registrierung. Er macht an folgenden Stationen Halt: München (23. Mai), Stuttgart (24. Mai), Köln (25. Mai), Leipzig (26. Mai), Hamburg (27. Mai) und Berlin (28. Mai).
An jedem Bahnhof gibt es eine DKMS-Registrierungsaktion im Zug – die DKMS bittet um Ankündigung:
- Mai: München Hbf. von 11:30 bis 16:30 auf Gleis 17
- Mai: Stuttgart Hbf. von 9:30 bis 14:00 auf Gleis 3
- Mai: Köln Hbf. von 9:00 bis 15:00 auf Gleis 372 (Verlängerung von Gleis 1)
- Mai: Leipzig Hbf. von 11:30 bis 17:00 auf Gleis 16
- Mai: Bahnhof Hamburg-Altona von 9:30 bis 14:30 auf Gleis 11
- Mai: Berlin Hbf. von 10:30 bis 16:30 auf Gleis 1

May 28th is World Blood Cancer Day. Isn't this an opportunity to set an example? You can register as a stem cell donor online at
https://www.dkms.de/de or at one of the registration offices, e.g. here:
A DKMS special train will be rolling across Germany for a week under the motto "Now it's your turn - set a sign against blood cancer", thus underlining the relevance of the topic and motivating people to register. He will stop in Munich (23 May), Stuttgart (24 May), Cologne (25 May), Leipzig (26 May), Hamburg (27 May) and Berlin (28 May).
At each station there is a DKMS registration action in the train - DKMS askS for announcement:
23 May: Munich Central Station from 11:30 to 16:30 on track 17
24 May: Stuttgart main station from 9:30 to 14:00 on track 3
25 May: Cologne Central Station from 9:00 to 15:00 on track 372 (extension of track 1)
26 May: Leipzig main station from 11:30 to 17:00 on track 16
27 May: Hamburg-Altona station from 9:30 to 14:30 on track 11
28 May: Berlin Central Station from 10:30 to 16:30 on track 1

Mein Ziel ist es, fünf Menschen zu überzeugen, sich bei der DKMS zu registrieren. Hierzu habe ich 5 Sets geordert, welche ich versuchen werde, im Familienkreis und auf der Arbeit an die Frau oder an den Mann zu bringen.
Vielleicht schaffe ich aber noch mehr als diese fünf. Sollte ich Dich überzeugt haben, schreibe es mir in die Comments. Ich würde mich riesig freuen.
