Today I want to share with you a folkloric arrangement for drumline, made by my group "Tambores Argentinos".
We are a percussion ensemble dedicated to combining Argentine folklore with drumerline.
This is an arrangement made on a theme by Ariel Ramirez, an Argentine musician who I highly recommend.

Ariel Ramírez was a musician, composer and pianist of extensive career, considered one of the most prominent figures of Argentinean nativism. Ramirez was a diffuser of traditional culture through an extensive discography and his performances directing his folklore company from 1955 to 1980. Author of numerous extremely popular Creole songs and the "Misa Criolla", one of the most important works of Argentine music.
Tambores Argentinos is the first group of Rudimental Percussion (drumline) from Argentina, directed by Sebastian Hoyos. Its beginnings go back to 2011 and it is currently the only one that integrates its own compositions, mixing Argentine rhythms with the language of the American and Swiss rudiments.
It also combines the sound of traditional instruments such as the bombo leguero with the typical instrumentation of a drumerline. The main objective of the group is to enrich Argentine popular styles such as chacarera, cueca or Tango, with the finesse and rhythmic and dynamic complexity of the language of modern rudimental percussion.
Tambores Argentinos has played on many stages such as the University of Southern Mississippi (USA) invited by John Wooton, the international percussion festival of Patagonia and the international percussion festival "TOQUE".
