We are back from our first Ingress Mission Day in Bonn, Germany.
We returned home yesterday evening, but I was way too tired to start writing anything right away. So I hopped under the shower and went to bed straight after.
We had amazing weather this weekend. It was summer in spring! I took plenty of pictures and will load them onto my pc somewhere today. I'll tell you more about the weekend once I've done that.
Today, the weather has gone from 25 degrees Celsius to 15 degrees Celsius. The first preview of summer is over and there's no new one in sight yet. So I guess we're back to stoking the woodstove for now.
My boyfriend took a day off for today. Figured it would be handy after the weekend away. so today, we'll be visiting a bank and seeing if we're able to get a mortgage there.
I noticed you get a free orienting talk at the bank, then you get an advisory talk which is definitely not free, and lastly, you pay some more to actually get the mortage set and ready. I want to see if we can skip that advisory talk, because I don't want to pay over a thousand euros just to hear them tell me "Yes, the mortgage you have already decided on is indeed the one you should go for". We'll see what we can do. I'll probably look for a mortgage somewhere else if they don't want to skip it, though I'm not sure how widely spread these extra costs are.
I'm glad to be back home. The weekend was lots of fun, but honestly, my feet were killing me by the end of it. When we returned home last night, my boyfriend told me "It feels like we've been away for an entire week, though in reality, we left home yesterday!". That's what many new impressions do, right?
Anyway, as I said, I will talk more once I have the pictures from my phone. For now, I'll just sort through the comments I received and grab my tea.
Have a good day!
