This is an image of the Tsomoriri lake. An arduous right eight hour drive on bumpy roads from Leh town. Not for the weak hearted (for ones with a weak stomach).
The most beautiful bit about the lake is how the colour of the water changes with the seasons. While it has the beautiful blue colour, as the summer progresses, a tinge of green starts appearing. Winters see the lake being completely frozen.
