Greetings dear readers and friends of @Emotions&Feelings. The cherished Community and all of us who share in it have been celebrating throughout the month of November on the occasion of its anniversary. Celebrating is always motivating.
Un dulce para la Comunidad, es la tercera iniciativa para festejar el aniversario. Por ello me uno a éste agazajo con un dulce criollo de Venezuela, el Beso de Coco. Porque forma parte de nuestras tradiciones, de nuestra expresión cultural y de nuestra identidad.
A sweet for the Community, is the third initiative to celebrate the anniversary. That is why I join this celebration with a Venezuelan Creole sweet, the Coconut Kiss. Because it is part of our traditions, our cultural expression and our identity.
El olor de las especies con que se hace éste dulce, principalmente de la canela y los clavitos, lo hacen atractivo aún antes de degustarlo, estimulando emociones que llegan a despertar nuestro bienestar emocional. La mezcla de coco, papelón con estás especies le dan un gran sabor. Algunos les gusta esponjosos y otros tostados o crujientes. Y para la comunidad un beso en forma ode corazón. Un corazón como su símbolo. Y porque el corazón significa amor y su efecto en los seres humanos.
The smell of the spices used to make this sweet, mainly cinnamon and cloves, make it attractive even before tasting it, stimulating emotions that awaken our emotional well-being. The mixture of coconut, paprika and these spices give it a great flavor. Some like it spongy and others toasted or crunchy. And for the community a heart-shaped kiss. A heart as their symbol. And because the heart means love and its effect on human beings.
Para mi familia y para mí el Beso de Coco es uno de los dulces que tiene más significancia. Porque se ha preparado de generación en generación. Y siempre nos gusta que forme parte de nuestro compartir. No sólo es festividades, también en reuniones o sencillamente como accionador de alegría, para relajarnos, brindar o pasar un rato distinto. A veces acompañado con café o con alguna bebida fría. Así que éste dulce representa, hermandad, compartir, alegría, tradición, deleite.
For my family and for me, the Beso de Coco is one of the most significant sweets. Because it has been prepared from generation to generation. And we always like it to be part of our sharing. Not only in festivities, but also in meetings or simply as a trigger of joy, to relax, to toast or spend a different time. Sometimes accompanied with coffee or a cold drink. So this sweet represents brotherhood, sharing, joy, tradition, delight.

Cuando nos reunimos para celebrar y cada quien comparte algo, no sólo brinda algo para comer o degustar, comparte sus intenciones y mejor deseo para pasarla bien. Se genera una energía de bienestar entre todos. Es un momento muy gratificante y alegre que siempre se recordará.
