It has been a while for me to be posting and blogging about a doodle but today I am ready to show you the latest doodle I made!
Doodling sounds like something that is just fun and looks amazing but in truth it's way more than just putting your pencil to a piece of paper and see what happens.
First I will show you the doodle I made today and at the end of the post I will show the progress pictures as well.
Today I made a Doodle by using only black pencils. I used a fineliner and a thick black marker! So, no I dont sketch first! I go right with the flow and wherever my paper takes me at that moment! But like I said before, it's not just going with the flow....
If you doodle you can learn a whole bunch of things who can help you when you want to learn how to draw.
You see, when you doodle you learn shapes and lines and most of all composition and that is what you need in drawing to make things look either more real or better! The more you doodle the better you will become at drawing a circle for instance.
When ever you find yourself doodling during your work, during dinner, while watching tv or just while sitting at your desk you are tapping into the creative part of your brain, this will either release you from the stress or help you focus better! Doodling is something for everyone and it does not need to look perfect! If you go looking online you will find the most amazing doodles ever and you might think, Nope, I can't do that! But you need to know that people who make bigger doodles and share those in special groups are doing this for a while!
I have been doing this for years and trust me, my first doodles were far from perfect as well. I still have them somewhere and if I am able to find them back I will make a post about them as well.
Lets play with the drawing in the digital world!
After you made your doodle and you are happy you can play around with it in the digital world and turn the black and white drawing into something totally different! With programs these days like photoshop etc its very easy to do. It also makes it possible the change your drawing without destroying your original work!
In my case, I took a simple picture of my work and cropped it and added a few different filters.
In one of my nest posts I will go into that so you can do it as well. But for now I will just show what you can do if you want!
So here are 3 different outcomes of the same doodle
You see, the world of drawing has lots to offer these days!
So stay tuned if you want to know how I do this!
Here are the progress pictures of this drawing.
