Freewriting
Today's prompt is Spa. I enjoy doing these freewrites; especially after yesterday's emotional roller-coaster! As usual, five-minutes of non-stop writing and no editing afterwards.
Beach Trip
Lay on your stomach and relax. Without the restriction of clothes; relax. Don't let these hands bother you. Your shoulders were once concrete; now soft as sand. My voice is like the soft waves on the beach - gentle. Keep looking downwards. This beach is a safe place where you become sand; not trapped within an hourglass. Time is not a luxury when you smell the salty ocean.
Can you hear the seagulls? They fly above us without posing harm. They are peaceful creatures, enjoying the flight in fresh air. You are breathing that same air; that clean air that purifies your lungs. Relax once more. Your muscles are now at ease. Keep imagining yourself, sunbathing on the beach. The sun is warm, but not scorching. Its rays hug your thighs, tanning them ever so slightly. Your bronzen glory awaits you.
I hope you enjoyed that. Please, pay $40 to the spa receptionist.
