The PokeSTEEM Battle league is challenging the steemit community to take part in this week's tournament. Those players who place within the Top 20 battlers of the week will receive a portion of the weekly earnings from this post.

All players are welcome to make posts about their battles and take part in spreading the word of the PokeSTEEM community by using the hashtags #pokesteem #pokesteembattleleague or the current weeks hashtag example #week2pokesteem. Spreading the word of the community helps bring more rewards to the pool and will hopefully encourage the Pokemon community to want to use this platform.

This tournament will end on Sunday at 11:59 PM and all battles marked in the battle verification log will be used for the earnings leaderboard and distributed according to the following brackets.

Create a Team with 1 Kanto Starter and 5 other Pokemon that are catchable between Rt. 1 and Viridian Forest in Kanto.

Each Pokemon will need to be at a level where they are legal to obey your commands before Brock. All Pokemon must be set to the Max level of 19. IV and EV Spreads can look however you please.

Neither Duplicates or same family will be allowed for starters. Same family will be allowed for other Pokemon but no duplicates especially of fully evolved Pokemon.

The PokeSTEEM Battle League's Week 2 Monotype Tournament has come to an end. We would like to thank everyone who has taken part in the challenge. Hive account@boycharlieplays has taken the top spot from his rival Hive account@pablitolaprea, and both Hive account@froilanbigott and Hive account@angelesanchez have made splashes in the area. Hive account@brickbrosbuilds has not shown up this week at all and therefore is not eligible for the Gym Leader reward sadly. Hopefully they come back next week.
