Hello my friends, toady I want to share my experience about my trip to Mustang district of Nepal.
As we all know, Nepal is rich in natural beauty and resources. The most visited place is the mustang district in Mid Nepal. Although most visited it has no good access to road.
That day, it was the last day of our post graduate exam. So, three of us Dr. Dinesh, Dr. Satish and me planned to visit this sacred place.
At first, we ensured the fullness of our motorbike fuel as it is quite difficult to find the gas station there.
Our first station was Kusma of parbat district where we enjoyed the bunjee jumping. Later heavy rainfall disturbed in the middle of the journey, so we stopped in the nearby cafe and enjoyed our coffee.
It was late evening when we reached our first destination ie Lete of Mustang district where we had Thakali Khana along with homemade wine.
We woke up early in the morning and was surprised to see the sun kissed magical view of the mount Annapurna and Dhawalagiri and that feel of the cold air.
After 2 hour ride we reached the Muktinath temple which is considered as one of the most sacred Temple of Nepal.
We bathed in the cold spring, worshipped and had our lunch. It was mid noon when we left the Muktinath temple. We were planning to hike the upper Mustang at an altitude of 4300 metres but one of our friends Dr. Dinesh suffered from altitude sickness at an altitude of 4100 metres so we descended to the safe height of 3000 metres.
We visited to the Dumbha lake which was a peaceful and scenic view. That night we stayed at Marpha village which is quite famous for the local apple wine, we enjoyed our local drinks with chicken barbecue and hookah.
Next day, we returned to Pokhara valley early in the morning after 5 hours straightforward ride.
I hope you enjoyed reading my blog. That's all for today. I request the Hive community to support me by following and upvoting that will be a good motivation factor for me.
