In the course of the world's most important events on a planetary scale that currently, at this very moment, invade the headlines and front-page news of all the mainstream media outlets in their different broadcast and opinion formats. I, in particular, I find a very high and massive dose of a lot of noise, confusion, disinformation, infoxification, misleading propaganda and language divides that we could hardly classify as free of impartiality by those responsible of them. And what is even worse, with a clearer and greater intention to inform and spread the news with greater objectivity, equanimity, synderesis and logical reasoning.
Therefore, and although these are not topics that I address frequently in my articles. On this occasion, due to the importance and seriousness of the matter and after having read an article by with many links to news sources on the matter. Suddenly I was stimulated and motivated to write something relatively brief about it. Let's see if I can offer a somewhat briefer, unbiased and more objective perspective on the matter from perhaps, a more historical point of view.
So, first of all...
¡Let's review a bit of history!
Why start this article with a brief prologue about the history of Russia, you may ask?
Well, simply because, in my opinion, a large part of the narrative in which the biased news that comes from the Western mass media are basically focused and clearly impregnated with the arbitrary interpretation that they gave to the declarations of Vladimir Putin in that ¿infamous? and recent hour-long conference that the Russian president offered a few days ago when he manifested the recognition of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions as independent people's republics alluding and referencing through his speech to more historical events than necessary that now probably are playing against him and for his own convenience.
So why not? let's play now to become ourselves a bit of devil's advocates to analyze the development of the current events from a more neutral, less biased, more reasonable and better informed perspective to reach a slightly more logical conclusion about the current real circumstances and the potential outcomes.
For which, next, I am going to use the statements of the veteran journalist Masha Gessen through a very thoughtful, eloquent, calm and eye opening interview that she offered to the Amanpour & Co show broadcasted on PBS media outlet yesterday.
«-The West is “Insane”-»
Alright, let's leave the "historical" aspect here for a moment. At the end of this article I will return to it since it is essential that we understand this historical aspect in all its dimensions in order to reach a better informed average conclusion.
We are now going to take a brief break from the above to briefly highlight some of the most important statements that some spokespersons on the opposite side of the scale have recently made and with which your local and worldwide mass media are probably feeding their trend of thought in your mind right now.
So yeah, let's throw now some "hard facts" with which you have probably already been fed during the last hours. ¡Simply because it is what appears everywhere!
"Russia’s Military Attack on Ukraine Unfolded"
'Massive Sanctions' on Russia
«-Biden announces sanctions after the start of Russia's invasion of Ukraine-»
Well, I think so far I have tried to be brief, concise and unbiased in my attempt to present the facts from a perspective kinda more objective. Since in my personal opinion I do not believe that this conflict is going to have the effect of escalating to an international war or world conflagration level.
Because so far, while I'm writing these words, for some reason this whole international political show just looks to me like a fight between angry dogs barking behind a gate who Don't Actually Want To Fight each other. Since they, politicians, are just animals of the same litter. However, I do not believe myself to be a prophet, nor a clairvoyant, or an expert on international geopolitical issues.
But I really do think that if you don't bother to go through all the links I've thrown throughout this post and if you refuse to consume the videos I've shared here from start to end. I'm afraid that with that lazy attitude, you will most likely be a victim of swallowing the official narrative of the Western mass media without resistance or critical thinking. Thus avoiding that you truly can think by yourself. Same old, same old.
At the moment, I really don't believe we will need a new Vasily Arkhipov to save the world. And just in case you don't know who he was and what I mean by naming him here. I'm also gonna share below a video with a very brief summary of who he was and what important role did he play in recent history.
¿Vasily Arkhipov?
Well, obviously I am not someone who claim to possess the absolute truth about anything. I have only tried to share a pretty brief personal view about a matter that occupies the minds of millions of people worldwide in this very moment.
And how brief, reasonable and impartial my personal view on the matter has been. Everything will depend on how curious and diligent you have been in clicking on all the links that I have shared here and if you have consumed the videos in their entirety as I have said before. Otherwise, you are obviously free to maintain your own stance.
So to end this post right here and possibly fulfill the promise that my personal view of the current events was going to be really brief. Then, let's end it with one last video that at least, hopefully may explain why I gave to this article the title I gave it.
