The concept of money, currency, and value has been consistently been changing throughout human history. And its definitely not stopping now!!! Thats something these old people that hate on cryptocurrency wont be able to understand. The only thing to expect, is change and cryptocurrency will be at the forefront of this change im speaking about..
Look at this One Dollar Bill, that was printed all the way back in 1957 (Shittt my parents werent even alive yet).
Do you notice anything different about it, in comparison to a modern day bill?
For starters the thing that sticks out to me the MOST, is right there at the top
"SILVER CERTIFICATE"
or in other words.....this bill actually had value.
"This certifies that there is on deposit in the treasury of The United States of America One Dollar in silver payable to the bearer on demand."
or in other words.....we promise we have the same amount of silver stored as the amount of bills in circulation
or in other other words...... this fucking money is backed by something else of equal value!
wooaaah woahh woahhhhh lets stop right here
Is this concept of having your countries money backed by silver or gold or anything else of value, a thing of the past that we all just magically forgot about????
I sure as hell didnt forget.
This modern day United States $100 has ZEROOOO mention of anything about Silver or being able to redeem something from a treasury. The only thing im seeing here is some fancy Monopoly money. The words Federal Reserve Note were no where to be found on the 1957 Bill and nowadays thats the only thing we can find on a bill. This "Federal Reserve" which isnt even Federal and the biggest joke of it all is that there is no Reserve!!!!!! This new monopoly money is as worthless as BitConnect (ok maybe not that worthless, but you get the point)
In due time, money will change forms again. This thing that we call STEEM and Steem Dollars will be seen as money by more and more people. STEEM has backing, value, uses, a growing community and im excited to see where it takes all of us...
