Amicalola Falls State Park
This pictures were taken on a hike to Amicalola Falls State Park. The park's name is derived from a Cherokee language word meaning "tumbling waters".
My near death experience.
As I was being "adventurous" and going out of the walking path to get a better shot of the land scape, I did not realize that there was a snake just inches from me. This was a terrifying moment when I saw it and my reaction. Fortunately for me it had just had its meal and taking the sun. I am not sure if it is poisionous but it got my heart beat up. But after over coming this horrible situation I went on to adventure mode again taking this beautiful picture of the snake.
The park is home to Amicalola Falls, a 729-foot (222 m) waterfall, making it the highest in Georgia. This is what we came to see and how what a wonder this was.
Naturally I love flowers and this is for all the flower lovers
This is an amazing view from top of the water fall. Good workout and an amazing hike.
This is me trying to be creative.
