...its a vegetarian Fughi delight (7 Different kinda of Mushrooms, "Shitake", "Enoki", "Button", "Oyster", "Abalone"," Australian field", "brown"
Preparation technique
...rinse, clean and sliced all mushrooms approximately 50gm of each variety.
...silce 2 whole brown onions and caramelized.
...separate Tofu sheets into 4 sections with siccors...fry the Tofu sheets till golden brown, then soak in water ( to soften)
...( quickly 5minutes )sautéed sliced mushrooms with caramalized onions then wrapped tightly and with a layer of Tofu sheets...then #steem-ed in a steamer for 25minutes...
(whilst its in the steamer)
...Pluck, rinse and clean Savoy Cabbage leaves whole, (about 10 pieces depending on the size of the cabage. Soak the leave in boiling salted water to soften ( 2 minutes should be fine).
Get a bowl and line the softened Savoy cabage leaves in "starburst" arrangement. Then gently place the Fughi parcel right in the middle of the cabage arrangement then quickly wrap it up...then brush it with a thin layer of vegetable oil.(for the shine affect) and its ready to serve.
Serves up to 10 people.
