As an American, I'm low key excited for the potential blockchain technology has to reshape how we receive and validate our "mainstream" news/media sources. Denzel Washington put it best when he questioned how we are living in an age where it is more about being first with information than it is to be thorough and valid with the information. Whoever is first, usually a centralized media conglomerate, tends to enchant the masses with THEIR story. A story that has come from a handful large, single node source, validated from within itself, broadcast and accepted with little to no impediment.
Following below is a Hip Hop track I produced, wrote and recorded in 2016. At this time I was living in Miami, Fl and the entire social media/news climate caused me to take moment and observe things from a macro level. This is a lyrical depiction of a few of my findings.
