Yoga is an everyday practice. I practice it in the way I interact with the planet. I practice on my mat and it clears my body and mind. I was so tired after work that I could barely function. I choose to step on to my mat. I thought if I could get myself on my mat that I could avoid “yoga guilt.” (I think this is common in the Ashtanga world.) Starting to flow through my practice: sun salutations, standing postures, seated postures linked with vinyasas loaded with jumpbacks, deep back bending, opening my hips by putting my legs behind my feet, balancing on my hands and forearms, twisting my body into intense shapes.... my tiredness fell away from my body
