It's another beautiful day full of hope and good vibes, happy weekend to you all my beautiful HL community members, and happy birthday once more.
So far what the featured topic thought me.
It was like yesterday when I joined the HL community and I must say that I am happy that am still very much here simply because of the way the HL community help me to improve with the featured topics.
While I was on other platforms I do normally come up with my topics which gives me writer's block sometimes and I can go a whole week without posting any article on my page but when I got to Hive and I joined the HL community I couldn't go a whole week without posting an article.
Because the HL community featured post is like a hint of what I want to write and all I just need to do is to develop the topic unlike before when I always struggle with topics to write on.
How HL community featured posts have changed me.
When I got to Hive I was an amateur writer which always affect my engagement on the platform until I joined the HL community. My writing began to get more meaningful and I learn a lot from some great authors that I met in the HL community.
I remembered when I first posted on the HL community and went to comment around reading people's posts, they enlightened me more on how to start writing than just going straight to the point.
Some friends I make in the HL community
I love rolling with people who have more knowledge than I do so if I want to make friends, I do go for people who can impact me with their knowledge.
During our hangout on the HL community, I discovered that chatting with plenty of people is fun because normally I don't know how to stay long on chat. Even on my WhatsApp, I don't make use of it often because my communication with people when it comes to chatting is very poor.
The first time I joined the HL community hangout I was lost in the chat because I don't even know who to reply to or which conversation I should join so I kept mute while reading everyone's comments.
The second time, I summoned the courage to join the conversation even though I still don't know what people are talking about there. Meanwhile, I was afraid that I might contribute wrongly to what they are saying but when I finally joined the conversation everyone responded and it feels like I am among my friends.
The third time I joined the hangout, I started feeling like everyone on the hangout is my family and all thanks to the people that always made the hangout fun and lively because if not for them someone like me can never pull such strings.
Talking about some friends I make
Ever since I joined the hangout I find Saturday fun aside from the fact that I make more money at work which gives me joy the hangout makes it more fun.
